Dr Laura Parsloe | Chartered Clinical Psychologist | Advanced Accredited Schema Therapist
Sometimes we find ourselves struggling with the same difficulties, emotions or patterns in our lives. We might understand some of the reasons behind them, yet still find it difficult to do things differently.
I offer psychological therapy for adults who want to develop a deeper understanding of themselves, work through emotional difficulties and make changes that last.
Are you finding yourself stuck in familiar patterns?
Perhaps you’re particularly hard on yourself, struggle with feelings of inadequacy or find relationships difficult. You might experience overwhelming emotions, feel anxious or low, or recognise that earlier experiences continue to affect how you feel about yourself and others.
Whatever has brought you to consider therapy, there is an opportunity to explore these difficulties and understand what might help you move forward.
A thoughtful and collaborative approach
I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding. My approach draws on psychological therapies, with a particular emphasis on Schema Therapy, to help people make sense of longstanding emotional and relational patterns and develop new ways of responding.
A little about me
I’m Dr Laura Parsloe, a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years’ experience. I offer a warm, thoughtful and non-judgemental space in which we can explore difficulties together.
Taking the first step
Starting therapy can feel daunting. You don’t need to have everything worked out or know exactly what you want to achieve before getting in touch.
If you’re considering therapy and would like to explore whether we might work well together, I’d be happy to hear from you.
